Mike began producing his own lures and baits full-time back in 1978, when two local sporting goods shops recognized the quality of his products and agreed to carry them. What started as a small operation quickly grew into a respected business that would serve hunters, trappers, and outdoorsmen across all 50 states and six different countries around the World.

Throughout his remarkable scent formulation career, Mike has developed and manufactured products for more than 40 different brands, including some of the most recognized names in the hunting and trapping industries. Among his most notable achievements is the production of the legendary line of Tink’s whitetail scents, lures, and products (Tink's69) that have become highly trusted names among deer hunters for generations. Many of you most likely have purchased some at your local Walmart. 

Mike’s dedication to the outdoors extends far beyond product development. His contributions have earned him induction into State, National, and North American trapping HOF's, recognizing his commitment to the industry and his efforts to educate future generations of outdoorsmen and women.

As a longtime staff writer for national outdoor publications, Mike has spent more than five decades sharing his extensive knowledge, field experience, and passion for the outdoors.
